What about requests from managing agents and landlords?
The requester says whether they are a managing agent or a landlord, and those requests arrive separately. For a communal stairwell, the form asks for the number of floors.
Do I still need the 1300-SD and 1301-SD VAT forms filled in?
No. They have not been required since 16 February 2025, under article 41 of the loi de finances pour 2025 (the 2025 French Finance Act). For a home completed more than two years ago, your customer certifies on the quote or the invoice that the conditions for the reduced rate are met.
Do I have to show my hourly rates online?
Yes, if you do call-outs, repairs or maintenance for private customers. The arrêté of 24 January 2017 (a French ministerial order) covers “peinture” (painting). It requires, among other things, your hourly rates including VAT and, where applicable, your travel charges to be easy to find online.
Will I own the website and the domain name?
Yes. The domain name stays in your name, and the contract transfers the rights to you.
